The Wildlife of Costa Rica

One of the biggest tourist draws to Costa Rica is the variety wild life, both flora and fauna. Although here for only a brief time, the variety of creatures I saw was amazing.

On the west coast of the country, Manuel Antonio National Park is known for combining  jungle and beach. Farther north, there is the Volcan Arenal, an active volcano that rises dramatically into the sky. Throughout the country, I was amazed that one type of environment was never far from another. The jungle was just on the outskirts of a village, and the forests of the mountain pressed in on any road that dared through it. With this though meant that the animals were never very far either.
